Many headers, connectors, inductors and hardware components have irregular top surface features preventing vacuum suction necessary to be picked and placed.

NPI offers various services to create a flat, level top surface for these components.

• "Hard hats" or plastic pick-up points - 0.30 ea applied to Single and Dual Row Headers
• Metal Head Caps or tin straps applied to female box headers. $0.30/unit.
• Kapton discs or tape applied to box headers or Board-to-Board Connectors - $0.18 per unit
